Registers and logs in cattaDoc

Project registers and logs are both management products and ongoing database registrations in cattaDoc

As management products, project registers and logs can be uploaded to cattaDoc if created outside of cattaDoc. However, register and log entries can also be registered in cattaDoc in an ongoing process. In cattaDoc, you can register issues and quality controls when they occur - or risks when you are being aware of them - or lessons learned when you find it useful.

In cattaDoc, registers and logs are database registrations created and updated through special screens like this one for a risk register entry:

All register/log entries for a given project are displayed on the book screen's right page under the Logs tab. Each entry can be colour-labeled according to risk level (or status for issue register entries) as shown below:

When necessary, a current register or log can be assembled into a document version, a management product, e.g. for presentation and discussion at a board meeting:

Currently, cattaDoc supports the following project, programme and portfolio logs:

  • Issue registers
  • Risk registers
  • Lessons logs

Quality registers are still under preparation.
